For Louis.

If Trophy had made that, it would have been a "Holy Grail" set for me, like the Heco Tinplate Models WWI German Gunboat.^&cool^&cool

How about a Confederate ammunition wagon for the American Civil War series

Good idea but you need the dog on the seat Martyn. Tommy

Hi Tommy

^&grin that's the set I borrowed the wagon and horses from.

Here is another version

The three figures were all found at the London Show as single pieces, I believe the seated figures originally came with the CONFEDERATE CAISSON IN ACTION set# US6V, the Confederate Artillery Officer is from set# US4A

Glad you liked the idea :salute::

This is the John L. (elephant man's) set, correct? I have this one, neat set.

Tom: I really don't know. I bought the set from Dave Dugas in New Orleans many years ago because I thought it was unusual and well done. Tommy

Still on a ACW theme.

How about a Confederate Gatling gun, captured late in the War obviously:wink2:

Martyn, from what I read, the Maxim was very heavy and would have required a water wagon(water cooled) and ammo limber and several crew figures. That would have made for a great big box set. Tommy

Can't believe I missed this thread when it was created but glad it was brought back to life. {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}
