A vignette diorama featuring the new M4A3 Sherman Tank and U.S. Infantry figures from W. Britains. The scene depicts the troops advancing to take out a pocket of German SS resistance behind the ruined wall. The new Sherman tank model is fantastic and the figures are first rate too!
Great work with these items on the part of W. Britains 😎

That is one GREAT little dio you made. - Love it.
Makes me want to break the budget and step out of my collecting zone and pick up these WWII pieces. - Ken

Great looking dio TMan. WBritains have really gone out of their way on the Sherman.

Cheers,
Grey

Thanks Grey! W. Britains really did a nice job with their Sherman tank… And I’m glad they’re bucking the German trend and making quality Allied armor and figures!

Brilliant mate that Sherman looks good.

Thanks Wayne! I agree, W. Britains did a great job in the Sherman!

Thanks for the kind compliments on my diorama, Ken! I’m a fan of the W. Britains WWII US and German figures, vehicles, and artillery. They offer a wide variety of high quality items at a (relatively) affordable price compared to some of the competition 😎

Perhaps the "tank of the year", Tman. I've been admiring this Sherman for some time. As I see it as you've displayed, it looks even better; and your photography is top notch. Great focus! I would love to have some US troops and armor to combat my TG Germans but not sure how these figures by Britains would blend in. Always been a fan of the Sherman. I have an old metal World Peacekeepers (WP) model that I've always loved, but the scale is 1:32, a litle small compared to 1:30.

In any case, love what you did with this impressive vehicle and figures, and the addition of the German opposition on the other side of the wall is most clever.

Most excellent!

{bravo}}

Here's an old shot of that WP Sherman pictured with some 1:30 scale Oryon figures, my first of the metal variety.

WesternOutlaw, some of my first Sherman tank models were also 1/32 scale (and 1/18 scale) from 21st Century Toys and FOV. FOV still makes some excellent 1/32 Shermans… And aren’t the Oryon figures 1/35 scale technically? I got some of their winter Germans and Russian figures years ago and the box said they were 1/35, though they seem big for that scale and look good with 1/32 vehicles. Excellent figures though!

I’d offer you get those figures repainted to FL standard, as should work well with the new armour.
