Thanks RobThe incorporation of three of K&C's best Shermans. Love it!
The only winter Sherman that I own Rob is the one with the track blown off at the back, you can turn it round then it looks like a normal ShermanIf I had a winter Sherman, I'd add to my Road to Bastogne.
Just remembered Rob I also have General Inspection with the 7 figures. How much would that cost now for thatIf I had a winter Sherman, I'd add to my Road to Bastogne.
That would be one hell of a highway 🛣 with 50,000 tanks on it RobinOne of the iconic tanks of the war with these 3 excellent examples taking the lead, with 50,000 behind them. Robin.
I do enjoy your humour Barkmann very entertainingGreat set up, do you think the guys on the church steps are thinking, just like buses, you wait ages for one and then 3 turn up!
Tonto is definitely my favourite MikeA great display of Sherman's Paul. Tonto is in my collection and I love it. Certainly a great model. I also have two of the newer Sherman's made by WBritain.
Mike
Tonto is definitely my favourite Mike. In your opinion which Sherman is better K&C or WB? Paul
Thanks MikeThat's a tough call. I really like the K&C Tonto Sherman because it's unique in that it's made out of metal and the tracks are functional. The WB Sherman's are very well made and detailed. It's hard to beat the knowledge and historic accuracy of Ken Osen and company at WB. However, if I had to do it all over again, knowing what I know now, I believe I would have passed on the WB Sherman's and only have collected the Tonto Sherman and perhaps it's brother #17.
Mike
I think personally RobI don't own any WB, but I've always liked the solid construction and weight of all K&C armor. Tonto is even a step higher being metal.
Now if K&C would offer a new winter Sherman, it would be fantastic.
I'm of the same mind, while the WB is a great Sherman once you have the Tonto in-hand there is no comparison. I would like K&C to produce a M4A3E8 from the movie Fury, with all the extrasThanks Mike. That's a great insight to know about both tanks. I am hopefully picking up number 17 at the London toy show so both could be on the prowl in December. Thanks mate Paul
Soldierboy I think K&C will reproduce alot of the iconic pieces overtime, as you have pointed out the new metal tanks are fantastic.
