Show me the way to go home ....To my new unit
Although the anniversary of the BoB is still far away I made a small vignette about the Northern Sector of the Bulge, where the 1st Div - The Big Red One-was stationed.A few pictures to show the result . The figurines received a complete re-paint. Two pictures of the vignette show a night vision of the scene

Both figures. As you will notice the snow has gone from the soldiers' coat and the motorcycle and rider also were repainted. Motorcycle in khaki+ weathering, the rider in khaki drill + weathering

What I love about the G.I. holding the duffle bag is printed on the duffle bag itself
lists the owners name as Andy C. Nielson. This is a classic piece in my opinion !!!

Some info about the building of this vignette
The rural information sign is from a Dutch company called "Reality in scale"
the map is an exact replica of the region " Les Hautes ***nes" North-East of Liège.
The lariks and the fence are greenline products ( German company Fredericus-Rex)
The other bushes and grass are self made and so is the poison-ivy
Fallen leaves are dried tea leaves.
The cobbled stone pavement is self made with a mould.
The whole vignette has been painted in oil-colours.
For the repaint of the figures I also used oil-paint
