A Tiger chassis not including the main gun is 21 ft. long. Scaling from the photo would mean the figure lying next to the Tiger would be 8 ft. long. Far too long for a 1:30 figure. The Tiger looks to me like a 1:35 scale kit model as aa rough estimate..

Maybe something like this ?IMG_2034.JPG

Or it's possible given that you are doing it from a photo with the figure at an angle closer to the camera then the tank that your measurements are off and the Tiger is 1/30th. :p

More likely, those of us who couldn't make it are just jealous of those who could, and annoyed that little information was coming out about our favorite manufacturer. {eek3}

All things are possible. It was a very crude estimate.

So is it an FL Tiger and if yes does that imply some British figures and AFVs???:)

Ha! I just walked in the door about 30 minutes ago from the show, can't give information more quickly than that!

Well at least the "cat" is out of the bag sort of speak,as others have stated it's hard to tell with one photo but hopefully Matt will have more information on the Tiger soon with some more photos, but from the one pic taking at the show it looks to be a good looking tank and finally First legion has taking the "camo" dip into the pool...Sammy

Thanks for confirming that a Tiger is on the way. I think that it looks great and will be adding one to my collection. Also, thanks for confirming that the Winged Hussars are only 3 or so months away. Perhaps they will beneath my Christmas tree after all.

Yes, it is a FL Tiger and it implies ... a FL Tiger. :smile2:

Is the Tiger already sold out from the pre-pre-order????? :p

I am just surprised that with so many collectors, including WWII fans, in attendance, we rely on Constantine for a photo. That just shows that fewer collectors are on this forum than we would like and even fewer take photos and post them.

I like the bombed out building in that FL dio.....Is that going to be sold by FL???

That is a diorama that TM Terrain did for First Legion - like all the others (except for the tiles of course).

The Tiger looks like a mid production unit with Normandy style camouflage, obviously to go with the SS figures. I hope it is of a quality equivalent to the Honor Bound Gold Tigers; which still sets the quality standard IMO.

Hmm... HR and Blowtorch referred to it as a "late production" model. Not sure the photographs are good enough for me to give my opinion.

The wheels are rubber rimmed in the photo; which indicates mid production. Late production had the steel wheels in common with the Kingtiger.
