A will be adding this at some point to my EA display. Now we just need a Sherman.

At least two..............and a desert Sherman would be great as well.

WOW:eek:, that is a stunner indeed! perhaps a dumb question guys, but was she only used in Africa? Could I get away w/ using it outside of the African theater???
I don't collect the AK series and cannot delve into yet another range, but I would love to add this beauty.

once had to come out:D and yes i want to have this :D

The Grant was only used outside of North Africa (as a gun tank at least) in Burma.

As stated by graycap, the Grant's only service as a gun tank was the Western Desert and in the India-Burma area. Even the British forces in Tunisia didn't use them (to my knowledge, anyway). The design was a side step from the desired product (which became the Sherman) just to get a medium tank into production. Some Grants lost their turrets and became recovery vehicles (Grant ARV), others were converted to Canal Defense Light vehicles (used in limited numbers in NW Europe in 1945).

I'm in for one because it's one of my all time favorites and the paint job and commander are, as usual, top notch.
However, I think the wheel/bogie detail is rather poor... a step backwards, even. Compare it to the Firefly... the difference is shocking.

For the difference in price I will stick with my FOV Grant. It also has crisper detail

Im in two minds at the moment, Think ill have to wait to see it in person first. I love the camo but not sure about the Tank itself? In the long run ill probably end up picking it up, as alot of my collection is 8th Army & im low on Tank surport lol (Still hoping for that Desert Sherman)
