Looks a great tank and just need an 88mm to aim at the huge twelve foot high target!!!

Most definately. Have got all others (Matilda, Crusader, most other vehicles), was waiting for this and additional tank types to surface. EA badly outgunned by AK, this is starting to redress the balance;)

Keep these EA tanks coming!

How Can I past this up, There are a lot of Sherman's Out there, Made By Manufacturer's I buy from, But so far(not counting this One) There has only been One Lee/ Grant tank. So I am In for at least One.
I hope Andy Does more 8th Army, This year. I hope, I hope.....

I am a newbie on the desert war. And I am wondering what the red/white/red flag/ markings on The Tank is for the Grant??

The Red/White/Red symbol is a national identification mark called the RAC Flash. It is a variation of the white/red/white flash from WW1 used to differentiate British tanks from tanks captured and used in combat by the Germans. Cruisers and Crusaders in North Africa carried the WW1 white/red/white flash. For some reason, the colours were reversed to red/white/red creating the RAC Flash in North Africa for the infantry tanks (Matildas and Valentines) and for the Grants. But not all British tanks in North Africa had the national identification mark - many were unmarked. The correct placement is where K&C has put it.

Thanks!!, for the information. definitely a must buy for me.

I'm on the fence about this one. It's a nice tank, but the price is really high. It makes the Crusader look like a bargain.

While it surprises me there isn't a Desert Sherman, there are so many Shermans in other theaters I'm glad Andy went for variety first.

(If anyone is interested in a Desert Sherman, I have Figarti one for sale that has barely been out of the box).

I am planning to buy 2 of these beauties ( I Bought the British priest by Figarti, and planning to use One of the pieces as The tank Commander in one of the tanks). But have a question. I read Someplace that there is a difference between a Lee ANd the Grant with the Cupola. Now My question is The tank That K&C is releasing, Is it accurate? Is it a Lee. or a Grant?. I guess If its not accurate I will just buy One. Thanks for the reply.

The K&C model is the Grant as used by the British in North Africa. The Americans used the Lee which has a machine gun cupola on top of the main turret.

Much appreciated Terry, I feel better. And now I can really focus on the 8th army figs, Without doubts.

Probably would have been Palms being the desert. Interesting bit about the grant and lee not, having much interest in the ugly duckling I did not know that was the difference
