Six Day War June 1967 (1 Viewer)

I am excited about this series and hope it will be expanded. I also commend Andy and company for releasing a historical range which some may find controversial or politically sensitive.
Unlike the LAH range which some construe to be glorifying the Nazi regime the "Six Day War" is a classic military action that warrants objective study from the military and military history enthusiasts.

I strongly suggest that a small release of the IDF's adversaries be made available sooner than later. Most collectors look for both sides of a conflict to create small vignettes and larger dioramas.
Egyptian or Syrian T54/55 tanks as well as Jordanian M48's would give this series more likely-hood of success.

Personally I would love to see an Israeli Centurion followed by the M3 Halftrack and a French AMX Tank.

I'm not normally one to stray away from WWII in my collection... but this line makes me consider jumping in!

Suggestion for continuing these figures... The Entebbe Raid of July 4th 1976!

This was mentioned to Andy and I was one of the ones suggesting something to represent Entebbe.

Certainly the reaction to this series by Collectors in Brisbane has been very positive and the price point certainly helped. As Jack mentioned Andy said the uniforms are not particularly difficult to paint and Andy has passed on savings from the particular factory that is making these.

If one wants to stay a financially going concern I will have to keep away from this lot but just the same it appears to be a very fine series, sorely tempted. Anyway Andy has said if it sells well there will no doubt be more to come and I'm sure it will sell and there will be more to come. One future item that could appear (and I am only speculating here) would send some bloke south of the border into a frenzy.............

And you must have this as well...........

Now your opposing mob would be Egyptians, Jordanians and Syrians, might then see something like this..............

Wayne.

Oh, by the by someone may even want one of these....

This looks very interesting. The figure poses are very well done. The tank looks really nice too. I particularly like the tank color. Looking forward to close up images of the tank and figures when the time comes. Thank you for the info!

Perhaps Andy could make a facade of a portion of the Entebbe terminal building. That would rock!

I have people in Entebbe if photos of the terminal were wanted for such a project...

I have a neighbor whose father is Israeli. His father was at Entebbe. He was one of the radio men that was reporting to the generals that were on a commercial airplane not far from Uganda. As the mission progressed various officers took over the communications with him having the radio on his back. From what I have been told his father doesn't speak much about Entebbe with the exception of telling people it was undoubtedly a miracle that almost everything went as planned with exception of Yoni Netanyahu being killed along with two hostages and another soldier being shot in the neck and paralyzed from neck down.
