I only collect WWII, so my comment is restricted to this period. From what I`ve seen so far, its hard to make a choice of whats the best release until now this year, but pondering for a while IMHO the best is yet to come, the Typhoon and its supporting ground crew... Let`s see what else is on the pipeline, so by January 2012 we may say which set got `11 Oscar!.... Fortunately considering the present level of releases, it seems its going to be a tough choice!{sm4}

I was in Austin last week for work and managed to swing by Kings X and pick up a figure and the new Collectors mag. beautiful layout on the Typhoon, I've really come around for the Typhoon but with the OWL coming out that takes first priority for me.{sm2}

Hopefully we will get the ME109 this year Mario, it's been on the list for some time. I guess the Kittyhawk could be some time off yet as Andy has only just confirmed it

I have to say it has been somewhat of a dissapointing year for me so far, the lack of any 1914 French has been a real bummer. Thats not to say there hasn't been stuff that looks really good, but due to the usual financial/space considerations I simply can't buy everything that I would like to have and have to reserve my dollars/space for "must-haves" only. The Napoleon in Egypt series looks really promising, the 1813 French Line Infantry looks incredible and the new Lighthorse is my first "must-have" of the year. All is not despair though; I have a feeling the NEXT six months are going to be alot better. :wink2:
