Thinking of maybe getting the commandos in the dinghy, how do the figures relate in size to the k&c ones?

Good to hear, thanks i have all the k&c commando's now, but think that dinghy set would go nice under my jetty bridge ^&grin

Just to reinforce what was mentioned TG and K&C work well together No problem. I have TG mixed about my K&C displays.

Good for it, TGM and K&C work well together, was thinking of doing the same.
Wayne.

I don't have any TG Brit Commandos but my TG Germans work very well with my K&C Germans.

Maybe so with TG's and K&C's WWII releases (I wouldn't know as I don't collect WWII and don't have any) ... But certainly not so for their NAPS. Which is such a pity :(

May I suggest that if you plan to display together with K&C and do not have access to a brick & mortar, it's best to ask your dealer on their size compatibility.

Interesting info.our WWII figures are compatible but for the Napoleonic era not so.

I have the Rocket Artillery sets and the Imperial Guard and I have them with my K&C and they seem fine to me. They look a bit different but that makes the line look a little more realistic. I am not a purist in the sense that being new to it all, everything looks good to me, so bear that in mind if you intend placing any weight on my views!

I agree have seen K&C NAPS with TGM and they look fine......................^&confuse^&confuse

Interesting stuff. whilst I would agree with the compatability in size style and painting of TG's german range to K&C the brit range itself has some subtle differences in size not only with their own germans but, also with K&C. some are fine as the pictures show and work well some are more noticable like the kneeling sniper who is a little smaller. The only one I did not picture was the vickars gun team as K&C has not yet done a para version and, this guy at the gun is rather small overall.

Mind the figures without stands do work well in the MG jeep sets so, its not a point where you cannot use them in anyway with K&C. Good figures overall

I think the small size differences look realistic and are withinthe range of variation between people. They don't look like mis-matched out of sized figures to me.

WWII no problem, mix them all the time in my dios

Thanks everyone, nice to see the the comparison in size, they dont look out of place at all. No shop near me, will just buy from out hosts. Just have the one set in mind at the time.

The TG Winter Germans blend well with the K&C winter Germans. Spot on pretty much on these.

I have been studying them carefully (WWII). I am going to say they work well together, there are some slight variations here and there, but humans are different heights and weights and the variations can be passed off as that.

TGM is doing an excellent job with their figures. A statement by Ken Osen stuck out in a conversation a while back. He said to not only look at the size and compatibility between manufacturers, but to look at the proportion within the figure itself. Like equipment size, guns, helmets etc. TGM has done a good job with this. K&C is getting a bit gloppy with their gigantic guns as of late, which is turning me off, other than that I love some of K&C's new offerings, especially the Brits, but the guns are way out of line. That really bothers me and it gives great figures a toyish look. TGM's stuff is looking more like scale models.

And their prices are great....A hard combo to beat !

Yet other K&C figures I have are fine....

I have been all over this lately....I want to bring my collection into line and get rid of stuff that is not fitting with my overall plan. I an getting it sorted out but that aspect can't be discussed here, because talking about what you like and don't like is not going over well as of late.
