Skorzeny's command car BBG039 (1 Viewer)

My set showed up last night (thanks treefrog!) and I truly like it. I'm not sure the Otto figure should be so 'jovial looking'...unless it's from the first few days of the campaign....I prefer the expression on the earlier released 'sheepskin Otto' figure.
Great set, great vehicle.

My mistake, had Otto and Sepp confused-fixed (doh !).

Received mine today, its nice but whats up with the 500 sets?

Mine has no number, or certificate......perhaps we are now operating on the

honor system?

Does anyone have a numbered vehicle, or a certificate?

Or is this the start of only 500 I promise!

We are starting down a slippery slope if that is the case.......reminds me of

the "only planned production of"

I think only the SL's have certificates I don't recall any of the recent limiteds having certification. So, we very much have to take the word of Andy don't see the slippery slope

No certificate for John

Hi Guys, hi John,

Our recent Skorzeny Command Vehicle it was only planned to produce 500 in this quantity. The reason being that, down the line, K&C would like to produce at least one other version of this item… in a different paint scheme.

When K&C looks at any project we try to predict what will sell and how many. In this particular case we reckoned about 500.

Had it been a “one-off” strictly limited it would, of course, have had a special leaflet and been numbered… and only come in one version.

Hope this helps and clarifies the position.

Best wishes
Andy

Although I have not found any photographic evidence yet, I am more and more convinced ( through reading several articles about Skorzeny) that his command car was a Horch Kfz 15. Keep all of you posted as soon as I have found definite proof
