I just came up with a bit of display space (about 15 by 12 inches) & I decided to add a small World War One Trench warfare scene that related to the last months of 1914 to be placed adjacent to my much larger diorama of the German Army in WW1 "Marching on to Paris" in August to early September 1914. By late September 1914 The German Army could advance no more & by late November 1914 there were trenches that continued from the Swiss border to the North Sea in Belgium!
(1) I have used a W. Britain (Trench/Gun Emplacement) set# WB51009. And so as to match up with my other King & Country (K&C) 1914 WW1 sets I also secured K&C sets of the German Army's (2) FW 058, a 7.7 cm gun w/ 3 man crew. (3) FW 059, an Artillery Officer. (4) One walking infantryman with cap w/ rifle slung. (5) FW 110, two walking infantrymen of the 13th Infantry Regiment with helmets w/ rifles slung. Please see the five photos attached below.
