Looking for some critiques. Is he camouflaged good enough or should I step it up a bit.

I can't see him, even after reading Guy's comment. Nice job at concealment, Mike!

Prost!

He is concealed very well although i don't think his camouflage is going to help him when that T34 open fire! {sm4}

Hello Mike,

this photo is very nice and realistic.....But, if you ask for critics, I have a few to make on your dio.:p

First of all, your Stalingrad dio, is very beautiful and big. I love the landscape especially, so realistic with many buildings, really hard to find this.

But (1) if I were you, I would paint all the tanks and vehicles in grey to make them a whole, it is not hard to do : just one colour to use (2) I wouldn' t have put the waffen ss units in summer camo (3) The nazi propaganda in Stalingrad is irrealistic.

Good point. I considered painting the pieces just to make it easier on the eyes. In my opinion the different uniforms make it look a little more realistic, considering the fact that during the Stalingrad battle the Germans were very unprepared for the cold weather and had to wear what was available. More Germans died from frost bite than by Russians. I'm pretty familiar with painting and ill have to take a closer look and consider what you said. Thank you I'm more than likely going to examine the battlefield as soon a s I get home. Good critique!

Thank you Mike! I have a dio on the Kursk battle ( not as big as yours and much more simple than yours), and I found mistakes bothering my eyes a few months after I finished it! I think we have to watch for long hours and even months sometimes a dio to correct the mistakes or to take the courage to start painting a tank!{sm3} In my case, I decided to paint a CS panther in the Kursk battle colours ( it was late war 3 colours camo). I also painted some soldiers' pants and one hat, I added missing antennas on the panther and on the panzer 3 ( the same you have! You can do this also to add an important detail missing!) and now, i feel happy to watch it .

Enjoy your great dio, improve it and make the changes you feel, you will be happier and happier with it !!:)
