Hi
Ive been following your sets waiting for something other than fj's for a while, don't get me wrong they look great, im just not into fj's.

But might just have to get that sniper anyway, It does look good.

Cant wait for some different stuff as well prehaps some British Paras!!!!

Im registered with the gunn club, but didn't get the email about the sniper, were these just sent out to some of your members?

All the best Dave

Hi Dave
Send me your email to thom@tomgunn.co.uk and I will send on the newsletter - it may have gone into the junk file.
Some British paras would be nice I have to admit but we have a couple of SS sets to produce first then we can look at the British!

I look forward to seeing what TG has planned for the Brits:cool:

Very cool sniper by the way.

Rob

Wait ya turn Rob got the SS to go first, but yeah the Brits should be cool as well.

Hey Tom,

Lets have the Brits before the SS,everyone has SS now and nobody wants anymore........kidding Wayne!;):D

Rob

:) Truthfully my Opinion! I think there is too Many SS German Figure's out there offered by ALL the Toy Manufacture's! I liketo see MORE BRITISH N.Africa, CAEN, and AUSSIE"S! I will Skip on the SS German's, unless they are Ramcke' Brigade! CIAO!

Here's a thing - i agree with Joh Gambale. There's more than enough SS figures out there. I'm not too excited at the prospect of TGM releasing yet more.
I'm sure they'll look good but they arent going to have the same buzz about them.

Spot on.You see I'm sure TG SS will be cool no doubt about it,and I'm sure Wayne and many others will be happy campers. But in the British figures we have the chance to get some superb reproductions of troops we don't often get.Only K&C out of the big producers do Brit Paras and knowing how well TG and K&C figures go together this is very exciting.Tom could I put forward the suggestion of Brit Paras in Normandy instead of Arnhem?.The figures can still go together for Arnhem, but some paras attacking Merville Battery would just be fantastic, perhaps with mine sweepers, barbed wire cutters etc.

Rob

Brit Paras in Normandy is a great plan.

Never short on ideas for your production on here Tom!!

It all depends on what the SS figures are doing and to what..............;)

I have every set that T.GUNN has made since he started. I dont care what he makes
i have not been dissapointed yet. Not eveybody likes the SS. that is out or fits into your diorama it is nice to have more choice. I have already pre-ordered 6 of his new sets.
And he has great prices and his pak.38 sets are great. Keep up great work T.GUNN.
No offence intended to anybody, Just my thoughts. Not everybody collects same things

Agreed, I haven't bought anything in a while but when I was at the MI toy soldier show today I saw his Normandy FJ sets and I had to have them. Needless to say I gave in and picked them all up. When I got home I took them out of their boxes and really had a good chance to look at them up close. I think these are some of the FJs on the market. The only thing that put a small damper on the moment was the figure smoking the pipe in TGM006 had some damage. The pipe had broken off in its packaging, small price to pay for such quality soldiers.

Someone else had that happen to the pipe too and he e-mailed TGM and they replaced it. Give it a try.

Thanks for the advice Terry but I bought them at the MI show and watched the dealer place them in their respective boxes so I don't know if TGM would actually replace that figure seeing that TGM didn't pack it.

In the other example, the owner broke the pipe himself. Contact TGM - especially if it was broken on repacking by the dealer. The design of the pipe is very fragile.

My pipe was broken too. Not sure if it came that way or if I did it myself. Only know that I couldn't find it in the foam but did eventually find in in the bottom of the box. Anyone try a repair on this?? I was thinking of drilling a small hold and glueing it in..........if I ever get the guts to try:eek:

Bill,

As it's not weight bearing, I wouldn't go to the trouble of drilling it, I'd just try a dab of CA glue first and see how you go with that.
