Nobody has posted pics of JJD Snow Shoes in a long time...
and how time does fly...
these figures were first introduced in 2007...
I just dis-assembled this display...
dug out the foam...re-foamed...re-used the frame...poured a new river and re-did the groundwork...
always liked this series...
all "one off" figures...no marching or firing lines...no duplicates...
great poses...vivid paint schemes..and you gotta love the snow shoes...

Mike,
Wonderful display and like you said before, every pose different making for a great story/diorama.

Steve

Terrific collection and diorama!

This series came out before I was big into collecting matte figures. Looking back, it's probably the one I regret missing the most.

Cheers,

Brendan

The ‘retired’ JJD TF shop still has some. My local ‘ Military Hobbies ‘ shop has quite a few of the older sets also. Certainly was a special series. Robin.

I came in on collecting JJD mid Monongahela, so Snow Shoes was the first series I completed, and that is one of the reasons it will always hold a special place! (completed Monongahela later, but that took me a long time, actually with a little help from you Mike :)

Niels...

yes I remember...we did some business together...lol...
collecting Monongahela was fun...chasing those early BM sets...
some went for a pretty penny...
some still do...

Over 15 years ago........Ah....those were the days!!! A great series indeed. I did not collect this range as I went full board into the Monongahela range.

These were and still are one a kind figures and a true treasure to your collection Mike.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

Don't forget to let us see what you set up in place of the BoS that you just took down!!!

My first Jenkins was FM-05 (Beaujeu , Dumas) and that was all I was gonna get but I had a bunch of figure kits I was going to sell but I ended up trading them to Kogu for around 30 sets of the Monongahela series but then he came out with Snowshoes and I fell in love. They are all gone now but I really enjoyed collecting them.
