I wonder if it's perhaps too wide, not too long. That happened to me with one of those music cabinets a few years ago that I specially ordered from North Carolina. When it arrived, it would just not fit in the room. We tried for about an hour to get it in and just couldn't do it. Then the delivery man, said, let's take off the door and the moulding and see what happens. Voila, we got in but just barely. Of course, when we leave this house, I'm not sure I'll be able to get it out!:D

Sammy,
Do the legs come off at all? If not, maybe you can take one side of the legs off and reattach them once you shoehorn the table into the room.....

I had a similar problem only with motorcycles......my answer was french doors

of course that was in the basement:rolleyes: Don't know how that would

work in your situation.....how does it look today!

Sammy, The dio is not made up on the table yet is it? Hopefully this has a happy ending.:D

Good idea, I also helped a neighbor get a giant sofa into a back room by removing the door moulding so it could just barely slip in. Although it took us 3hrs to come up with the idea:eek:.

HUUURRRAAAYY, I finally got my 10 foot table into my new room!!!! we took off the middle set of legs then reattached them with hinges so if I ever need to move it all I have to do is fold the middle legs in and away we go, thanks for the ideas and prayers ha!!!! when I get my new diorama set up I'll post some pics,.....Sammy

I don't know what your situation is -- but I had a similar problem -- tried everything, and it wouldn't fit - -so finally I cut the board in half -- put hinges on it so it could fold and unfold easily -- just like the old ping pong tables.

Hmm...I would rather have thought it were an opportunity to put an addition on the house. Throw in a new powder room to placate the missus.

Prost!
Brad

Hooray ! :D can't wait to see that diorama.

I had a problem like that once - I just bought another House.....Nothing comes between me and my Toy Soldiers ;)

So did you build the house around the dio table? Kind of like Odysseus's famous bed?:D:eek:
