Anyone think that Andy took any of these 'Greatly Thought Out Polls' To account?:)

Think it may give him a more overall view of ideas that collectors most prefer!?:D

I bet he has known for a long time what people want. But given the number of ranges K&C produce and their large production runs, it has been a balancing act of supplying many ranges with pieces that will sell in high volumes - go with the winners first. There are a lot of possible WW2 pieces and a company can only produce so many in a given period.

I think it is just the turn of the stuff people have been asking for.

Not really. No offense, but Andy makes what Andy likes. I think he looks at what is selling, but Andy is an artist at heart and likes to follow his creative muse.

Ding Ding Ding! Great post Gary, I think it is a real balancing act between what is selling and what Andy truly likes himself. Kind of cool way to make a living!!

Whilst Andy may keep an eye on opinions here he is always going to make A)Stuff he likes and B)Stuff he think will sell. There is no doubt he has listened to collectors over the years on various themes, but the decision is always going to rest with him and thats how it should be.

Rob.

Scott, why do you hate posting on here?

Excellent point. He does do the occasional odd one that he likes, like the truck mounted 88 or the huge US tank recovery vehicle - still waiting for his threatened trailer to go with that. Hitch the trailer to the recovery vehicle and put a tank on it and I don't have a display shelf long enough for it. :)

I second that! If Andy just made figures on behalf of opinions, he would have made new Templars with red crosses, a long time ago! :p
