Some more help please with some more K&S Glossy Chaps (6 Viewers)

I could really do with some help here identifying some figures I have.

1. 6 kneeling Seaforths. I am a bit baffled by this set as I bought this a few years ago. They were sold to be as K&C in a K&C old blue box and they look like K&C. But when I got them they are slightly smaller than the other K&C sets I have. Any idea why they are smaller. I still love them but can't understand why they are smaller.

2. I have what looks like a police woman writing out a parking ticket (parking fine) or just making some notes. Again it was sold to me as a K&C piece and has what I believe is a K&C stamp on the base.

3. I have what looks likes like a USMC pilot. Again it was sold to me as a K&C piece and has what I believe is a K&C stamp on the base.

4. Finally I have this zulu I recently bought - no idea of the Make I just liked it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not 100% sure about the Zulu, but the rest are K&C. You have a Royal Artillery Sergeant with a swagger stick from RA1 or RA2, a kneeling at the ready Seaforth Highlander, a Hong Kong Police Meter Maid, a WWII U.S.M.C. pilot, but the Zulu is in a pose I do not recognize. That does not mean it is not K&C, Gordon Neilson used to customize one-off figures from K&C castings.

K & C made several pilots in similar poses; I have three or four. I don’t think they show up in any brochures. I’d have to check. If they do I will send you a scan.

K & C made several HK police figures. I have a bunch. I will find the brochure and send it to you.

If you look at the pics they are in you can see they are much smaller than the other kneeling figures..

The pilot does show up in one of the brochures but it’s not the clearest. I can send it if you like.

I can also send some photos of my Zulus, if you like. I think I have about six or seven.

TBH - think I might have to start buying some of the dioramas they really bring out the best in the toy soldiers....

Here is a photo of the original K&C Zulu War Burning Farmhouse, with all of the K&C Zulus, the one 24th Foot figure K&C produced (a wounded officer standing behind a dead horse firing a pistol), the Frontline Chard & Bromhead figures mismarked K&C (there's a story about that in the K&C Book Volume 2) and the red coated Seaforth Highlanders (which period K&C brochures depicted fighting the Zulus).

While I am one of the authors of the book, I don't receive any of the proceeds, which I assigned to co-author Kevin Elliott, who spent a small fortune flying across the pond to do the photography.

Actually, I don’t think your Zulu is K & C. I have about 10 of them and they all have oval bases nor do I believe your Zulu is Trophy, which did use square bases but they don’t seem to look the same.

Thanks Louis. I think I purchased it from Peter Lalos a couple of years back. He has some unusual pieces from time to time.

Yea these look good. I have the one on the left on the top hand picture as well as 2 that are not here. One firing a gun and one with a stick with a round ball Cudgel I think it's called. These look good. When I bought mine the gentle put them in a box and gave me the original receipt when he bought them... He did the same when I bought the 3 Seafoths - again with the original receipts. Ill see if I can find them and she them... (receipts that is).

Agreed those airmen look good. So glad I asked the question as I thought my airman was a fake. I even tried to sell it in 2018 ad no one wanted it. So glad now. I am going to keep an eye out now... Again thanks for sharing///
