I went Nap a year ago when I got my fill of WWII (but still get a few new WWII) and am really enjoying it.

It may just be me or the way your photos come out on my screen, but they appear to bright and a lot of the detailed gets washed out (especially in the close ups).

I assume you are using a flash.........if so, try "taping" a piece of facial tissue over the flash to act as a difuser (sp).......this may dampen the flash enough to give you a more midtone photo and allow some of the finer detail to show.

Again just a suggestion, not ment to be critical of your photography as I do enjoy looking at them and seeing what creative scences you have come up with

Another alternative is to reduce the brightness by using the tools in your photo viewing/management program. Most now have some sort of tool to do this. I use M/S photo Manager and it's available there. You just need to reduce about 1/2 - 1 stop. You can also do this in your digital camera - which is how I do it. There are flash settings in your camera - start with -1 and adjust from there. Good luck.
