Perhaps you didn't donate enough, so they had to go commercial with what sells....... I remember when it was actually a pretty good channel.

I don't have time. Too busy with my iPhone 24/7.... That's not my job, but knock yourself out.
I am interested in their upcoming mini series...8 hours...

You are correct on both counts. These all strayed from facts also. Oh, the horror of it all.I thought as a movie it was pretty good but they really did stray far and wide from the facts.

Me too. Also the next season of the Vikings starts 19 February.
Me too. My fast forward button has the paint worn off. Texas Rising I probably alsoI record all of these and fast forward through the commercials...just an idea...
I watch Vikings also and am eager to see the new season...

Finished watching the recorded series tonight. This is just about the silliest thing I've seen. Spent a lot of time fast fwding. About the only similarity to our actual history is on the broadest terms. Yes, there was a Genral Gage, Sam Adams, American Revolution, etc. It's a video game come to the small screen.
Gage wasn't even the commander of the British army in Boston. Chris
I watched the Series on ON DEMAND and fast forwarded through the commericals. I really enjoyed the Series but I thought That John Hancock's character was a little weak. Other than the obvious historical mistakes it was enjoyable. I am just glad they are giving us some Historical Dramas to watch instead of all the other garbage that they throw out there. I will look forward to them continuing the series.
P.S.
General Gage was the commanding General in Boston for the British. General Howe and Grant were his Subordinates.
