This diorama has been extended in length to accomodate more figures. I hope to fill out the first couple of rows with TG immortals to oppose the spartans.
The photos are only an indication of the increased area.
As more of the TG Persian are released I will take some of the King and Country figures from the diorama, Steve. Still to complete the back drop for the new section. I expected to see some photos of the Immortals at the London show, but nothing. By the way, I think you have nailed those latest dioramas. The scenery is great. Regards Greg.
Cheers Greg, Yes you're right. I suppose TG are still awaiting their delivery. Think they said five would be released this month, so that'll be a good start.
The K&C Persians look fine to me in the diorama but I suppose you could use them for another of your ancient Greeks dioramas !?

Just playing around with this scene to see how a elephant would look with the Persians. Don't know whether there were any elephants at this particular battle but i will be looking forward to when the Persian elephant is released. Sapper.
A TG Persian Chariot sounds like it would go very nicely indeed into your dio Greg !
So many tempting things on the market and more to follow, it's hard to keep up with it all !
Yes your probably right, a chariot flanked by a couple of cavalry behind the infantry would look good. There is so much happening in the ancient era at the moment and the big four makers all involved. It's hard to decide which series to get into and to stay with but I will continue with TG as their figures are superb. Regards Greg.
I'm very happy with the new Immortals and they certainly add a lot of colour to a diorama. I won't cover the bases yet until the next figures are released as I might have to change some of the placings. Sapper,
That's where I fall down Greg, I have no patience in covering bases, although it certainly enhances the scene from a display to a full on diorama. Looking forward to seeing your final result, should be amazing. Robin.
