Special One of A Kind K&C Piece (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
here is a project I commissioned with Alex Prieto over a year and a half ago for a special one of a kind K&C Piece. It is a modified DD 24 K&C Lee which has been redone to become....................Monty's Command Grant. He also took a Monty figure and made him a half figure!

Alex and I started on this before Chicago last year and we had no idea Rick at Figarti was doing one. I had the idea, but Alex deserves all the credit for making it a reality. This is the only photo I have as I am awaiting the arrival, but it looks fantastic! Kudos to Alex because while an idea is a great start, it needs somebody who can really bring it to reality to make it worthwhile!

I forgot to add that the piece was done for a long time except that the decal for Monty was very difficult to do and I really appreciate Alex's determination to make that happen, he is not slow folks, sometimes the little things take a ton of time!!

K&C needs to produce this tank for their British 8th Army and Afrika Corp. series. The Germans totally outnumber the British in tanks and vehicles.

Nice piece! Not to be a swipe, but was this the tank known as the "Honey" by the Brits? I'm looking to see if there's anything out there to match up with my FJ fro TGM, and would love a period tank or truck. Thanks in advance.

to my limited! knowledge, the Honey was a Stuart tank, this would be a Grant tank.

The Honey is a Stuart. If you're looking for a Honey, there are some Figarti Honeys on ebay from time to time, although the scale is a little wrong. Exceptional tank however.

Thanks guys! Ideally I'd like to find a beat-up Morris or other allied truck in 1/30 scale, but I'm finding nothing for the Germs to capture!
