Thanks for all the pictures of the new stuff, looks like John has headed off onto another era with the Revolutionary War.

The Hessian troops look SO good, pity that they were not made for the 7 Years War, like he did for his Battle of Leuthen range :( :(

Still, I suppose that the market will be in mainly North America for these figures, and so that's the way it goes .... ?????

John

On the figures, my take on it: the improvement of the faces that I observed over the last year, continues. I find these figures somewhat slimmer and less bulky than previous releases. A rather knowledgeable person told me that in his opinion we are seeing the evolution of a sculptor who started sculpting 28mm wargaming figures. Some of the units have a larger variety of sculpts which should appeal to the FL collector. Lastly, little shading which obviously helps defend the price point, but makes the figures look flat.

Having said that, I think it is a great release and I might dip my toes into this range with some Hessian Jäger.

Thank you so much for the photos. An amazing array of new figures for the Rev War and the Stug for WWII. John is certainly taking the show by storm. The Saratoga figures have certainly caught my eye and I might very well be adding these wonderful creations to my collectible shelves. Even the scenics are impressive looking from the redoubts to the split rail fencing. A great big bunch of awesomeness for sure . . .
:smile2: Mike

Great Looking Products especially the Saratoga Figures....WOW :salute::..Like the Stug III as well.....As mentioned by Andanna, the faces are ideed very good and the bodies are slimmed down. They look alot better then some earlier JJ figures.....Where can we get that Jenkins brochure I might try these :salute::

I took the liberty to discuss the quality improvements on the figures and particularly the faces. John and I offer the following into evidence (palm courtesy by Mark C.):
