Good work Wayne,

love the pic where we first see the guy in house,

keep them coming,

John

Good story telling there. Those folks have breathed their last.

Steve

War is hell...especially behind the frontlines for the poor bloody civilians!
well told and illustrated Wayne.
All the best,
Andy.

Cheers gentlemen another series I was late to collect and they are awesome, even tho I was educated that the red hats (Fez) where never worn in the field but hey they look good.

Great story Wayne , nice positioning of the figures in the dio and very nice figures
Your making great progress, no bases visible , well done
Guy:)

Very well done, historically correct: it shows the hard time the civilians had during the war in ex Jugoslavia. Brutuality was both by the germans and by the Titian partisans.

I like all the details like the broken window panes, the cat, the different plants, etc. Well done mate.

Where is the next picture showing them killing the old lady and the the old man ?
I hate the glorification of all those "Totenkopf" SS division trained to kill civilians; mem, women, old, young kids, babies .
Those one were in majority choosen by the Mufti of Jerusalem wishing as the Nazi the eradication of all the Jews
Formed in feb 1943, trained in France were some of them will rebell in sep 1943 taking German in custody but they were only few of them . Rebellion was stoped by a SS Imam, and they were executed . In december they will be stationed in Austria before to be sent in Bosnia were they will fight against Tito's resistants .
I guess the diorama shows them hunting resistants in the farms, they are not glad . The poor farmer
lyied to them .

Result will be : Kill Kill Burn Destroy Rape Steal

Oh yes .... IMHO

The diorama is well constructed and has is place in a museum with a note explaining : where what why who

I completely agree with Mirof. Right now for some reason I can't like posts (and the forum looks different), but if I could I would like Mirof's post. Millions of innocent civilians in Eastern Europe were massacred by SS Troops, even before the built the death camps to effectuate their "final solution." I've seen videos (taken by Nazi propaganda photographers) showing civilians being marched into a trench, then shot in the head, then the next two marched up, shot in the head, etc., until the villagers are all dead, and then the trench is buried. The horror is beyond comprehension.

Even with the gas vans.

I’m reminded of the 1985 Russian WW2 movie “Come and See”. It doesn’t gloss over the horrors of war in the east and is confronting viewing. If you haven’t seen it then you should, but you are warned it’s not for the faint hearted.
