I just thought I would post a photo of the #3 sets that I still have from the St. Petersburg Collections. The figures are made in St Petersburg, Russia and imported by Thor Johnson in USA. I had a few other of these sets but decided to just stay with these #3. In fact my wife liked and purchased the two camel sets & I got the foot figure with hunting hawk for her birthday in 2008. These Russian made figures are certain splendid. But they do sell for high prices. These #3 sets relate to Mongolian warrions of the 18th century.

Lovely figures especially, like the Mongolian with the bird of prey

Yes, very nice! They certainly do make excellent figures!

Very good work
St. Petersburg is the capital of the painted soldiers
More than 10 well-known companies work
BUT
Who is the sculptor? Who is the artist? Who's the designer?

Dear "Igor":

As to who is the "sculptor, artist & designer?" As I recall the bottom of each stand has coded numbers/letters that relate to your above noted questions. You would have to ask Thor Johnson the importer of these sets for that detailed kind of information. Yes, I am aware that there are more than several miniature manufacturers in St. Petreburg, Russia. They do splendid work there indeed.
