St Vith/ Malmedy sign mystery? (1 Viewer)

I thought this rather neat sign was part of the 'Cold feet, warm boots' set, but in all the pics I've seen it does not appear to be so. Can anyone shed light on which set it comes with?. The Command car perhaps??.

That was also asked when Chicago was on also and nobody knew or did not reply. Its equally at home with both but as you say its not on any of the pics advertising it. Wonder if it was just an extra element in the diorama?

"the warm boots " incident on which the figure is based upon, took place at the small village of Murringen much further away from Malmedy and Sankt-Vith than the number of miles indicated on the sign. If you are looking for good Ardennes signs I can recommend Verlinden accessories.

If thats true makes you wonder what BOB could be released????as there has been some good sets in the last dispatches or two.

I would like to see K&C release a set of road signs for different theaters so, that they could be used in different diorama's say four or five per set don't know the interest or cost but, with all the dio stuff being released I am sure they would be popular.

I very much like these signs Mitch and I now have Caen,Bastogne and St Mere Eglise, so this new one would be a welcome addition.

It's much easier to make your own, like I did. I know the ORD DEPOT sign is historically inaccurate, but I edited it for visibility purposes.
