Stalingrad future releases? (2 Viewers)

OUTSTANDING.:):):)
Now this is what it's all about. This is a EXCELLENT LOOKING FIGURE to complement what we have seen already. This is one EXCITING line of figures to hit the market in a LONG time. And the Stug III. WOW. Looking forward to recreating the Battle of Stalingrad in miniature.

After seeing TM Terrain's scenic pieces at the London show (pictures) people will be able to make some fantastic dios with this range, almost museum quality.

Most definitely NOT sir. :D:D:D

He is pointing for a VERY specific reason. You just need to surround him with a bunch of running germans and then put a big building with russians in it across from him to fully understand his non-generic point. ;)

Aaaahhh, specific pointing. I should have realised :D
Another great figure Matt.

Frank, wasn't there some other kind of home brew weapon? Kind of like a short range HE projector?

There was a Molotov Projector that I first learned about from countless playings of Advanced Squad Leader's Red Barricades Historical Module. I'm not sure if this was a Russian produced weapon or the British Northover projector in use by the Russians at Stalingrad.......

This is the first I've heard it. Sounds dangerous....to the operator:D

BTW Matt, another very good looking figure although I have to say the Germans are really starting to outnumber the Russians.

Yes, I think that is it. I saw a picture of it...I'm looking. iirc, it looked like that tube gun Capt. Kirk made out of a log, saltpeter & flint to kill the Alien on some planet.

Thanks Frank. Well, let's take a tally at year's end to see where the numbers stand. Too early to worry about who outnumbers who, this is just the beginning...

Matt,
How are you making out on your WWII range? Are orders better than expected, what you expected or are you disappointed in what's been ordered so far.
Mark

I know of no person who would tell the world what his bottom line is (unless required to do by the SEC because they are a public company). After all, does Macy tell Gimble how he is doing?*

*For you youngsters out there Macy's and Gimble's used to be competitors before they became big companies.

Sometimes a company will say an item exceeded all expections or were surprised at the lack of interest.Maybe I just asked this question too early.

A company (if it's not a publicly reporting company) may say it exceeded all expectations. But what company would ever say "yeah, the product blew, man. It was really awful."

They may not say it that bluntly but they do say it.You have to read between the lines. It happens all the time with movies and other products. In TS world you may not see more releases in that range or very few or they will say that particular historical period is not popular.I agree they will not tell you the absolute bottom line and I can understand Matt not wanting to say anything definite about Stalingrad right now because if it is selling well he doesn't want his competitors jumping in this range but I bet if you asked him face to face you could tell how it's doing.I just asked him a general question.

Mark,

I think you're a great guy but that's just not the reality, whatever business you're in.

Jazz,
Maybe not but it doesn't hurt to ask.I belong to a figure painters forum,Timelines, and I was telling them about FL's 90mm Saladin figure (which is beautiful) and Matt came on it and was very forthright in telling the guys about it and told them how many he had sold painted.Granted this new range is a much bigger endevour for him so I thought I might get something out of him. Can't blame a guy for trying.I was just curious. And no I'm not a businessman as you can tell.:):):)

Some very good ideas here including a few we hadn't thought of. As for Russian AT Rifles, most definitely. We would like to integrate something Russian for the banks of the Volga, we just haven't decided what yet.

In regards to sales, well, you know we aren't going to discuss that. Suffice it to say, we're still expanding the range at a tremendous pace.

Speaking of which, here is a preview of a new figure that will be available early September....

Hope you like him!

Matt,

The paint jobs on these figures look to be of the same exceptional quality found on the Aeroart type figures. Are these master painted prototypes or are these the actual production figures? If they are masters, could you show some photos of the production figures. Thanks!
