Recently got some new FL WWII Figs (Thanks TF !) and wanted to do a quick dio during a lunch break. An assault team pushes forward with supporting fire:

A lunchtime well spent for you. I do like that set up looks really very good

Awesome dio Mike! Those FL figures sure do POP! I love your backgrounds by the way. Your dio has great depth.

So that's a "quick lunch break dio"?!?!{eek3} That would have taken me a lot longer than that to set up and shoot! :smile2:

Looking good! Thanks for sharing and congrats on the FL acquisitions. The tank riders in the rubble look especially nice.

Hi Mike, those are some great sets and the Build-a-rama ruins and rubble look great together, can't wait to see the after dinner line up:)...Sammy

Great setup you have there! Always enjoy looking at WWII scenes!! {bravo}}

Hi Mike ,
Looks Great {bravo}} Man everytime I see those figures they just keep looking better and better , If I didn't have them I'd be sold :wink2: best looking , most realistic WWII German figures ever ...................IMO {bravo}} Thanks for sharing regards Gebhard

Thanks very much for the kind words Gents, starting with FL Figures make it pretty easy to get a good outcome.
I'm lucky enough to have my collection in my home-office, so I can take the occasional break to tinker with a dio while clearing my head (a very simple task {sm4})
Sammy, great to see you back !
Joe & Steve, I couldn't believe what a difference those J&G backdrops make until I took a few pics with 'em.

I'm finally starting a FL & KC Crusaders dio as I'm finally not traveling for a few weeks, hope to post something later this week.

Great job Mike. Everything blends perfectly with that backdrop. The photo with the MG team is my favorite. Thanks for posting.

Thanks fellas, I've really got the 'dio bug' and want to build this one out a bit further, with more detail on the inside of the buildings.

Here's a couple more pics, tried to make them 'grainy' to represent combat action photography from seen during the era.

Hi Mike ,
GREAT stuff I really like the look , IMO they look almost real . These figures are really wonderful , that Hauptmann in the fur coat is straight up pimp ^&grin sure looks like Jay Leno really a super cool looking figure . Thanks for sharing Great to have guys posting pictures and Dio's .. regards Gebhard

Mike,

The "mood" you've managed to capture with this series of pictures is excellent. Great compositions.

Thanks again guys. LOL, I never I'd see the term 'straight up pimp' used with a toy soldier Gebhard...but it actually works in this case {sm4}.
