Static or non-Static poses ?? (1 Viewer)

Which would you prefer ??

Wayne,
I would certainly like to see some more static poses . Don't forget a soldier spend 5% of his time fighting and 95% waiting or doing something else.
shaving, playing cards , doing laundry ,waiting in line for food, cooking, eating ,writing letter, siting in fox hole smoking, cleaning gun,etc , etc .....
Hope that is what you mean by static

don't prefer one over the other a mix of both is fine with me. People who call for these non action scenes on the whole are diorama makers and while they are useful and every now and then interesting I would think most who collect are happy with marching, pointing, saluting, and the simulating action poses.

Risky if we are asking a new company like TG to make stuff that its fair to say only Figarti recently have done these type of sets. To see how popular they would be we would probably have to see K&C do them and, as they have not that may tell a story about their perceived saleability

My version of static is "at rest", to me figures are more versatile in this format. Whilst a action pose is also very useful at times, it tends to limit how the figure can be used in a diorama. Also generally in an action pose it also makes the figure one of kind and therefore the option to duplicate the figure is negated. A mix is desirable, but the majority for me would need to be static.
