I know the background doesn't match the field but that's all I had on short notice, lol. I just made the grass matt. I need to make one with a greener texture to it.

I think it looks great! Plenty of trampled wheat fields in the Normandy front!

Wargames in Darwin :). A kangaroo under that tree... just joshin' ; it's a great scene and like the mat. It will serve many eras and regions.

Not quite Bob but a great dio nonetheless.

Awesome scene and photo Joe. I like all the different colors in the shot. Those figures appear to be among FL's finest WWII Germans. Thanks for sharing.

Nice scene. May I know where you get this back drop from?

Very very nice diorama. Tiger and soldiers look awesome. You did excellent job on the grass mat. May I ask how you make it ?

Joe...

I clicked on the picture and it opened your photo albums...
this series with your mat and the tank...
one of your best set ups and photo shoots ever...
great dio and great photography...

also...
I looked through your albums...
where did you get the Barbarian hut?
did you make it?

That looks great Joe and the matt is fine; in Normandy there were different colored fields throughout the countryside, the backdrop looks great with it.

I think there are 2 different huts in that album. The completed one with the Romans and druid is by TM Terrain. The one with the stone work is one I have been working on.

Great scene. Don't worry about the color of the grass. Grass is the first to turn brown during a dry season. Your scene looks very natural to me.
