I think this somehow has a home front feel much like the ' For you Fritz the War is over ' set. I really hope K&C go on to make more of this kind of set. Its this sort of thinking what makes them No1 ! :smile2:^&cool{bravo}}

I think my Typhoon may have to wait a little longer for its ground crew now . I guess I soon won't be the only four Tillys type of guy!:)

Its really an outstanding set, and as you put it Rob, another fantastic creative insight of K&C! Out of ignorance: were such bomb units with this same paint/uniform present in other European theaters besides the English home front?

It's a great set.
I'm thinking about grabbing this for our son for Xmas (if available then). He's an EOD officer and he might appreciate a little historic perspective on the 'roots' of his chosen profession.

This little set is another great example how K&C think outside the box and give a little more to diehards of particular battles. What a unique piece, I've never seen anything like it before. It does fit well with the FOB civilians and the "For you Fritz the War is Over" pieces. I also noticed a British soldier standing at attention by a building and some sort of soldier with a warning sign on the bridge. These homefront pieces are really cool and certainly add a needed dimension to the Battle of Britain. Looking forward to seeing more in the future as this line expands. This set is definitely high up on my buy list for sure! :cool: Also really like those Ancient Greeks and that Me-109! {bravo}}

I'm in been waiting for more homefront stuff for a while now! & the british soldier standing to attention next to the police bobby looks good to!

Craig

Just realised the bobby is a different one from the fritz set! Maybe we will get a police car & red firetruck in this range eventually? Also just noticed the british soldier holding up a wounded german pilot near the bridge & the warning sign soldier.

They are great Rob! I can't wait to get a better look at them, also is the figure right at the back of the shoot a new one? He has his jacket off with a fuel can or something similar in his hand?
