I think you are right .I have been thinking about getting some clear adhesive and putting that over the top to dull down the blue.Simmo.

Hey Simmo,you are definitely getting there mate,you could try dry brushing a darker blue or a green over the blue to take down the colour a bit.Looking good though.

I think the grass is improving. The water feature is tricky. Really it shouldn't have any blue at all. The water would appear somewhere between clear to murky with stirred up sediment. If it was clear you would see the bottom which means it would require depth (not too easy on a terrain mat).

I have tried simulating water with coloured plastic sheets crinkled up - but the colour was never good and they didn't look realistic. I am convinced the only way to do water is with one of the liquid pastes modelers use to create a water area. There are several on the market.

Some of the grass is too bright a green. The colour could be muted or dirtied up.
