Stuka (1 Viewer)

I have been wondering the same thing...I thought they were to arrive in early Feb.

Guys,
The ship with the Stukas aboard for Europe is due to dock any day. I expect the same for Matt.
So hopefully early next week they can fly out.
Regards
Clive

Any new stuff coming out Clive?

Hi Neil
Next releases will probably be linked to Westcoaster and London Shows as they are on same weekend in March.

Clive

Oh well knowing FIGARTI it will be worth it..........^&grin

Ladies and Gentlemen the Stuka's have landed!

Shipment arrived today and I was able to inspect a few.

The wings come attached and they come in a more attractive box. But a nightmare to find shipping boxes for them! Low and flat, but wide. The landing gear, etc. are magnetized. They used rare earth magnets and they seem to work great.

We will be shipping them out in the next couple of days, spent some time sorting today, but still playing catch up from a vacation and then a blizzard and packing for Show in Annandale, VA this weekend!

All retail and dealer orders will be shipped by Friday. If you need to update payment info at HB. Do me a favor call me first! and we will get it out faster!

Thanks, Matt

It looks like we may have a couple of each extra if my count was right. So if you think you may have missed out shoot us an email!

Thank for the update Matt . Let hope we see some more new stuff coming out soon from Figarti

What is the purpose of the magnetized landing gear? I can think of two logical posssible reasons so have to ask.

I assume this is to create ease of shipping.....I can understand the mounted bombs under the wings being held by magnets.... no problem there.... but the "landing gear also"^&confuse....I sincerely hope this will work...It would be ashamed if this is a faulty design{sm2}... The wings being removeable worked out well with the first Figarti Stuka.....Landing gear held by magnets????.......we will soon find out.{sm2}

WOW^&confuse^&confuse^&confuse.....Just received my Figarti Winter Stuka....A beautiful model "RUINED":mad::mad:....The magnetized bombs do not stay centered but the magnets keep shifting the bombs forward out of position. More importantly the landing gear keeps falling off at the slightest touch of the model.....This is a ridiculous design:mad:...Very poorly thought out....The rare earth magnets used to hold the landing gear in place is especially "DUMB" as this is an important support point for the stability of the model on a desk top......WHY make a great model which cannot stay upright^&confuse^&confuse^&confuse....This is really a POOR DESIGN....if you want to keep this model gentlemen break out the 2 ton epoxy. And try to remove the magnets "if your able".....I don't know how I will attempt this.... It's the only way it will stay upright.....If Figarti did not want to go to the trouble of proper assembly of the landing gear it would have been better to supply a tube of glue and provide simple hole/peg insertion area so we could glue the landing gear properly into a prepared slot.....This really has me angry....Very Sad Indeed.

I'm sorry to say my mate had the same problem with one of the limited edition version from Clive last month which came with a damage tail as well

That's not good....sorry to hear about the landing gears.... Hope Figarti will have a solution to fix it for you....
