Sturmtiger, Sturm-Mörser-Kp.1000 (1 Viewer)

Missed this thread...Super Cool..................I have 3 NMA Sturmtigers I think it is time to start super detailing them. Alex

You should they are worth it and look great for the money.{sm4}

They have been packed away for a while, just took them out and loooked at them, I think they will look excellent with some work. Most of all I will have to scratch build the ammo crane. Alex

Just for fun, let's say one of the behemoths shows up on Ebay... What do you think it would sell for?

The Sturmtiger with the ambush pattern camo sold for $1,125, the one with the winter paint job sold for $1,155. I was the second highest bidder, outbid by the same sniper with one second left on the auction each time.:redface2:

Rev Pete has posted a tricolor Gold Sturm Tiger on eBay. Stating bid $600.00

I thought I'd pull this thread up, just so you could see a few of Frank's excellent photos of the Sturmtiger ^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool^&cool . . . the one I missed!:redface2:

I missed this whole area on the forum, never did get any gold editions but love HB vehicles.

Superb photography by Frank. :salute::

I missed out on the Honour Bound version, still have The Collectors Showcase version on one of my bookcase displays.

Yeah, I missed out on the Honour Bound version too.

However, I agree with you OzDigger. I love my Collector Showcase version too.

Cool pics Carlos, looks like I've lost the winding handle, who knows what happened to it. BTW that figure has fallen off the tank and onto the floor more times than any other figure in my collection, now has a few bits of paint missing, the risks of a 'tank rider' I guess.
