One of my favourite tanks. From memory there was only about 17 built, but did they have a massy punch. Really like the TCS version with the damaged track option. Robin.

It is a nice model Robin, but is not one of the TCS vehicles with the thrown track option. At least mine didn't come with that.

Here's another shot from the side.

Yet another simple, yet beautiful setup and photo, Duke!

The TCS Sturmtiger is definitely a beast size-wise, and a great model too! I’ve got the summer version with the loaders add-on set. However, if I had to pick a favorite Sturmtiger model, I’d go with the 1/32 scale diecast model from Walterstons FOV. The detail is amazing and it’s got a full interior 😎

I have a box full of broken track optional pieces which I have slightly lost the ability to match up with the corresponding vehicles, so I assumed the Sturm was one of them. Just checked my Normandy version and as you point out correctly, it has both tracks firmly attached. Shows I must have too many TCS items ^&grin, Robin.

No worries mate.... they have made many that do have the option and some that do not so it's hard to keep track of which is which.

Thanks Duke for sharing your models of the Sturmtiger. Quite an impressive beast to have for the collection.

Cheers,
Grey

I've got the TCS winter version and its a 'Brut' of a beast and makes an excellent display on its own. Dukes done another classic mock up and it looks great.

Its also a heavy tank and you certainly wouldn't want to drop it on ya foot. {sm2}{sm4}
