Been away from my computer and what a nice way to return to it. Very nicely staged and your photo features Your Trophy Battalions at the finest.
Martyn...nice collection for the Battle of Atbara...the Dervish look like they are finished...
Many thanks.
I guess one of the most collectible items would have to be the Nile Paddle Steamer, I'm still looking for one
Meanwhile............................

Martyn...I'm a little confused...the British Toy Soldier Company Boat...do you own 2 of them or is that the same one in both pics...if all you have to do is add a few props to turn it from a military war ship into a passenger ship...then that is really nice...I like it when the manufacturer makes our collecting affordable...when you can get two totally different looks out of one piece...THAT'S NICE!!!
Here are the four machine guns used by the British Army in Egypt and The Sudan between 1881 and 1898
GATLING

NORDENFELDT

Hi Martyn,
These are very nice pics of a series of machineguns.
It would be great if you could add them to either the Artillery Fans or the Victorian Little Wars albums so that at more people could appreciate and comment on them. Please feel free to add any other pic to the album that you may want to share. The idea of the albums is to create a central repository of pics that can allow the viewers an opportunity to see many different sets in one single location and comment on them, take ideas for their own set ups and collection enhancements.
Best Regards,

Hi Martyn,
The photo of the Gatlings and Gardner machine gun saving the day looks great, please add them to either the Artillery Fans album or the Victorian Little War one so that more fans of these two topics can see them......
And if you can, please also add some of your great pics of Victorian period Trophy sets to the Victorian Little wars, that would be very nice too and we could have one centre place to admire them all........

Hi Mike,
These are very nice pics of a Nile boat in two instances, peace time travel and a really armed to the teeth Nile gun boat.
It would be great if you could add the gun boat version to either the Artillery Fans or the Victorian Little Wars albums so that at more people could appreciate and comment on your set. Please feel free to add any other pic to the album that you may want to share.
