Sometime before the Gunfight at Cactus Corral, Calvera and a few of his banditos crossed paths with the Magnificent Seven. There was much bloodshed in the little town of Rusty Spoons. Being just a "One-Horse Town" (not counting 4 slightly smaller TCS Stagecoach Horses), Calvera decided to concede and ride off with those that still had a horse. A few of his men decided that they would stay in Rusty Spoons to join the Clanton Gang.

Calvera may have been defeated, but he swore that he would return to the Town of Rusty Spoons!

Another well imagined episode in the Rusty Spoons saga. Sounds like Calvera isn't a quitter and is a believer in "Run away today so you can fight another day."

You got it, Mike. With an out, he can fight another day. Plus I can bring him back to the scene and story again should I want to reconfigure the shelf.
