Thought I'd give this tread a bump in hopes to tempt Brad in getting the von Zeiten figure as well, IMO its up there with the best figures First Legion have released. best Gebhard

The von Zeiten figure is an amazing figure. He will certainly be in my next order. Thanks for the tip Gebs and for bringing back this thread.

I do agree, that's the only non NAP figurine I ever bought so far. Could not resist...

The other Seven Years War figures are equally amazing. Please take a look at the figures I posted.

I m reading a biography of Frederick the great, the king who made Prussia an important state, who attacked the austrian empire, who started to create the german state, who built the " sans souci" castle in Potzdam....The general may attract the crowd for the details and colours, but he is much , much less important and known than Frederick the 2nd....If I had to buy one of them, The choice would be easy to make....

I certainly wouldn't argue that he was, for the record I opened the box containing alte Fritz first :wink2:

After talking with Brad about von Zeiten over in the classified section I thought I'd give this old thread from 2013 a bump. Although I've had these fine figures as part of my collection for almost three years now, not a day goes by that I don't enjoy looking at them and that's really what is all about. And who knows maybe I can entice another collector to pick him up before he sells out :wink2: regards Gebhard

I like how you have them displayed Gebs. It was thanks to you I purchased the Von Zeiten figure. Thanks again.

Brad

Hi Gebs, love both sets, the detail is stunning, also like the display cases they are placed in, if and when we get a First Legion Tiger I can use that type of display as well!!...Sammy

My pleasure, anytime I can help a fellow collector it really adds to the fun for me. The camaraderie between collectors is a big reason I take part in forums. I'd really hate to see anyone with an interest in the period miss this figure, as we both know it just two good to miss :wink2:. regards Gebhard

Hi Sammy,

Thanks, I'm really enjoying them {sm4}. I'm sure its just a matter of time before you get your Tiger I and I'm also sure it will look great whichever way you decide to display it, even under glass. :wink2:. regards Gebhard
