Hi Guys,

Many thanks for the enthusiasm on the upcoming “Robin Hood” range… For the record the first releases will include:
“Will Scarlet”
“Friar Tuck”
“Little John”
“Maid Marian”

and, of course, the aforementioned “Robin of Locksley” AKA “Robin Hood

Later releases will include the following…
“Alan-a-Dale”
“Much the Miller’s son”
“Sir Guy of Gisbourne”
“Richard the Lionheart”
“Prince John”

and, I dare say, the dastardly “Sheriff of Nottingham” plus a few of the sheriff’s own “Not-so-Merry Men

I’m pretty sure “Ivanhoe” will also be putting in an appearance.

Hope this gives you some idea of the potential scope of this very colourful mini series.

Best wishes,
Andy

Well Andy, this will be the first time that I'll buy figures other than WW2.
As a little boy, Robin hood was one of my heroes,my godfather's hobby was archery and at the age of 14 he made me a member of his club, I had several long bows and I can say that I was very good at it;
So I am looking forward to the launch of these figures
guy:)

What a great collecting line this will be. Who didn't play at Robin Hood as a child? My friends and I beat each other with wooden swords and shot each other with dime-store rubber suction cup tipped arrows. Coupled with jousting on bicycles with broomsticks it's a bleeping miracle any of us survived.:rolleyes2: This is gonna be fun. -- Al

Now you've done it! I can see a castle dio somewhere down the track...Hmmm can we find a long ago lost relation from Sherwood Forest from among the Nudgee boys? :rolleyes2:^&grin
Wayne.

Started working on a castle ruin some years ago, as soon as I read about this new line I took it out of the cupboard again to finish it one of these days
guy:)

This all sounds great Andy. I don't think I'll be able to resist these figures.

I'm sure Jack could find a long distant relative of Friar Tuck's{eek3}^&grin

I love this idea! The perfect evolution of the Crusades range. Robin, Ivanhoe, King Richard, possibly after and during the Crusades? We already have a mounted, charging King Richard, in the third Crusade. Robin Hood's camp in Sherwood? The Sheriff's mounted patrol? Ivanhoe in a joust? Ivanhoe returning from the Crusades? We already have two jousting knights. However it evolves, I predict this will be a very successful range and one I will be collecting.
