Recently, most manufacturers seem to be releasing individual figure sets and no armor, vehicles, etc.

Is this due to the US tariffs?

JJD just released a King
TGM a Arty piece
K&C 2 X Spits
FL Ferdinand and PZ

So I am saying US tariffs is a US thing.

Agree with Wayne, T Gunn have had 3 Self Propelled Guns and 2 artillery pieces in 2025. JJD have K Tiger, a new Desert Panzer III and a plane. K & C planes 2 Hurricanes and 2 Spitfires, a chariot [Egyptian], 2 scaling ladders [Medieval]. Have put the last two in as they can be 'classed' as vehicles based on price, as they do tend to cost as much as some smaller vehicles.

Many ranges, particularly JJD, do not lend themselves to large scale pieces, JJD Jacobites [thou 1 artillery piece has been released], Gladiators, Siege of Malta and many more, while T Gunn have been releasing Romans, French Foreign Legion etc, plus his 'erotic' women do not need a vehicle. Unless someone can think of one?

Tariffs - do not think you have seen the full impact. i have noticed some of the US dealer prices are higher [can see why if their costs are higher], as i compare them against the UK dealer prices and they are converging. Only JJD prices, as UK K & C prices are mental. K & C offer a great direct service to UK, so i always buy direct, Kristy is a Star.

See what the Supreme Court says, if it agrees with the lower courts that the tariffs are illigal! Then we shall see if they tariffs are removed or the administration just ignore the ruling. It could mean a lot of legal cases to get the tariff monies back, which could mean the US gov have to pay the funds back!! To whom? We all know it will be importers not other countries. Not just the actual tariff amount, but admit costs, legal cost etc.

I also think there is a lot of wait and see, with importers just ordering what they need rather than importing for stock, as if the situation changes then they could have bought stock which is unsellable at a required profit, as they have bought when the tariffs were high.

Factory schedules and issues also play a massive part in what is being Released.

I'll be watching this thread FYI as I have previously requested no threads on tariffs. I will shut it down and delete the whole thing if there is even one political comment.
