"She is a beauty and a beast" -,Howard are you sure PA is talking about the bomber and not about your wife ?????

Guy mate,
The Wellington and the Lancaster are the most fantastic beasts but my wife is the beauty for putting up with my addiction to TS and allowing me the room for nineteen showcases.
The more I look at the photos of the Wellington the more I think the dining room table needs a centre piece.:) Maybe I might just email Andy.^&grin That Wellington is super nice.
For those Forum members who have never seen or held a wooden warbird, they are truely a work of art. Polystone fighters are terrific but not in the same league as these beauties.
Cheers Howard

PS Wayne mate, you owe me a beer for that post.

Andy mate,
Outstanding aircraft and excellent model, a must have, but unfortunately the good lady wife has said there is no more room on the breakfast table because of this beast.^&grin
Cheers Howard

PS It is very tempting though to find some room on the dining room table:smile2:

Howard,
A truly magnificent model! As for display space issue, gotta take the bull by its horns (tackle the issue at hand and not referring in any way, shape or form to the good lady wife, of course). Be the man of the house and make an executive decision. Display it in the bedroom - and while you are at it, since the plane is made of wood and not the heavier polystone, why not have it make a bombing run over the bed:tongue: Have a go and please let me know if your mission was successful or did you crash and burn{eek3}^&grin

Lawrence mate,
There is no way known that the GLW would go for any TS in the bedroom. Having seen your fantastic collection in your bedroom, I sometimes wonder how you are still married.^&grin Ah, yes I do know now!!!!!! Its all that money I sent you to put your children thru college. I wonder how happy your GLW would be if you moved your basement holdings upstairs.^&grin
Cheers Howard

That is so true. The wooden birds are works of art.

Howard,
What money and what basement holdings are you talking about?^&confuse^&grin By the way, I am the master of my domain, and my GLW says so! Sadly, the empire is shrinking as my resources have been diverted towards funding the Department of Education, so my current domain is limited to the bedroom and the basement :smile2: By the way, just got my son's tuition bill for next fall semester, don't you need some fighter protection for that Lanc before you spend more of your defense budget on a Wellington?
Have a great weekend and don't forget to spend some time with the troops!! All the best, Lawrence
