Randy,
I like 19th C. Colonial Brits... in 54mm!!!
And the Telegraph, Heliograph, anything with the suffix graph, Reporting, Signals, even Observation for Intelligence should be included, as a form of communications. I am biased towards the 19th Century myself.

I just bought the Heco Zulu War Heliograph set on Ebay. I will post some photos when I receive it.

Three members of the 8th Australian Light Horse Regimental Signal Station, sit with their heliograph set up on the pier on the Sea of Galilee. This photograph was published in The Kia Ora Coo-ee, 15 November 1918, p. 11, with the following caption: 'A signal post, Tiberias'. The ancient township of Tiberias is on the west bank of Lake Tiberias, also known as the Sea of Galilee.

Point of reference. These Fusilier Hussars are the same castings as the Royal Engineers but with different heads, bringing up a bone of contention... the heads are too small for the bodybuilder bodies, and the legs are so skinny it makes one think the British had Lycra in the Uniform Regs.

Randy,
Some really nice Signals Sets. How about an Observation balloon from Hocker or Steadfast ?
