Mr. BLReed...thank you...I have it set to record in my series manager...I will be in San Antonio at the Texas Toy Soldier that weekend...but will be anxious to watch it on my return...

I understand it is an 8 hour series...

is that 8-1 hour shows...

or 4-2 hour shows?
 
well...

I just looked it up...

this is an 8 hour...

5 episode series...

it has a pretty good cast of seasoned actors and was filmed by the same director that made the highly acclaimed Hatfields and the McCoys...

Kris Kristofferson...
Bill Paxton...
Ray Liotta...
Brendan Frasier...

just to name a few...
 
It says it's 10 hours but I only see 2 hours tonight and 2 hours tomorrow.Anyone know more?

Just found this info....


"When does it premiere? On Memorial Day, Monday 25 May at 9pm EST. The second part of the 10-hour miniseries airs the following night at the same time. The rest air on the next three Mondays"


.....but no UK release date yet:rolleyes2:

We do get Sons of Liberty starting next week, is this worth watching?

I don't even think I have seen Son's of Liberty advertised...

but I will look into it...

Watching this and really enjoying it so far. Only complaint I have is the incredible frequency of the blithering commercials. They seem to be coming every 5 minutes.:mad -- Al
 
I watched the first episode of Texas Rising...
it's pretty well done...
I'm gonna stick with it...
I might have expected more with all the hype in promoting it...
but still...
it was pretty good...
perhaps Episode 2 will get better...

and yes...the commercials come every 8 minutes...^&grin
