You could be surprised. I mean TG could use this model ( plastic ?) as an example for making his own version of this vehicle

I hope you're right Guy, because it would be a great must have release for TG! BTW, I think they're announcing their September releases today, isn't it?

Contacted Tom yesterday, he has not yet received all the pictures and figures ( new rising sun series). Could well be that the next releases only come on the 4th October

"Dispatches will hopefully be tomorrow as photos finally came in today, goods will be for sale late next week but as a teaser for what is to come in the next month or so please read on.

TGM will be starting a new series featuring the British fighting the Russians in 1919 Civil War Russia! Our British troops will come wrapped up to combat the Russian winter with a healthy sprinkling of snow on the bases. Russian Civil war personalities from the 'Whites' and the 'Reds' will also feature in this series as well as some nice looking wooden warbirds from this era!

Alternatively you can use the British fighting the Germans in the first winter of 1914 before the advent of gas made carrying a gas mask a necessity of life on the Western Front.

Yes winter WW1 Germans will also be coming too in case you were wondering!

Our Russians and British troops will come in two versions, one with a winter look and one without. This does offer increased flexibility in that the British can also be used as early WW1 western front and the Russians can be used as early WW2 troops as well, but this time fighting the Germans.

We have not neglected WW2 and are bringing in more winter FJ's, in the form of a very unique winter radio set. The set will comprise radio man complete with Fug Radio as well as his number two scanning the horizon for Russians or Americans if you prefer a BOB scenario. What makes this set rather unique is the addition of skis, poles, rifles and FJ helmets which can all be placed around the set to add that extra touch of realism.

All the above will be ready in October quite aptly just as winter starts to close in on us here in the United Kingdom!

Best wishes Vicki Lucas

allied intervention of 1919...... need to see more to decide if investment is required but kudos to TG for creativity... I guess I will need to read up on the Czech legion. I would love to see Spanish Civil war figures too as Jenkins never really addressed them..

I could be wrong -- and what do I know -- but I can't believe the Russian Civil War will be something that collectors will be clamoring for.

I'm guessing that Spanish Civil War wasn't a huge seller either; I lived in Spain and have read widely in Spain but, except for an initial burst, the line didn't grab me either. From my limited perspective, there was too much Nationalist, as opposed to Republican, issues to suit my taste. I don't want Nationalist figures in my collection.

Have to say I would be interested in the Russian Civil War figures as long as they produce some American Soldiers as well as the British and Russians etc. Would be a nice little vignette for a very little know and discussed action.

In the same week, K&C announced it is doing the English civil war...

Russian civil war. That interests me. My grandfather was in the Cossack cavalry, fought against the Germans in WWI, escaped from a German POW camp, and then fought for the whites against the Reds. His father in law (my great grandfather) was also in a Cossack unit and probably fought in WWI as well.

It is a very interesting chapter in history. Don't forget the US 339th Polar Bear Regiment that fought under British command at Arkhangelsk. They had some skirmishes with the Bolshevik army. I don't know how well the line will do but I would be in on the Polar Bear regiment is produced.
