Dear All

A quick note to say that our dispatches will be delayed by 1 week until the 11th to allow for the last few items from Octobers dispatches to get to dealers.

However as a sneak peek at what is coming, I have attached pictures of our new Natter with crew figures.

The Natter was the world’s first vertical take-off aircraft with a top speed of 621 mph and was armed with 19 RM4 rockets in the nose cone. This aircraft was a radical design that was supposed to help the Germans stop the Allied bombers wreaking havoc with German industry. Designed by Erich Bachem and first launched with a pilot at the controls on March 1st 1945. Lothar Sieber was in the Natter on that fateful day and there is some speculation as to what happened during this flight. What is certain is that the Natter lost control and crashed killing Sieber. Such was the desperate state of affairs that three Natters were still prepared for an operational sortie against Allied bombers on 20th April, which was Hitlers birthday. However US forces arrived in the area just before the launch and the Natters were destroyed on their launch pads. As so often was the case with Nazi Germany, it was a case of too little too late. Whether these ground breaking aircraft would have made any difference to the Allied onslaught, is a matter for speculation. The Natter was a truly radical aircraft and the forerunner of guided anti-aircraft missiles today.

Our set will come with Erich Bachem, Lothar Sieber and 2 Luftwaffe mechanics. Price should be around $199 and approximately 100 sets will be available from late November.

Until 11th November I bid you farewell and hope to have more good news with some very exciting releases which will be available just in time for Christmas!

Kind Regards

Vicki Lucas

Look very nice Tom did say he was going to make one and worth waiting for

Very nice set. Already pre-ordered mine and MORE V WEAPONS TO COME
guy:)

Smashing looking release Tom, what an interesting set. Great to see less well known items such as this being released.^&cool I like the figures in the pics too.

I understand Sieber came from Dresden so you can well imagine him wanting to try and hit back at allied bombers, shame for him his mission ended so quickly and so horribly. Bet he didn't know much about it hitting the ground at such speed, I understand there was not much of him found.{eek3}

Keep up the good work Tom the V weapons series is terrific:salute::

Stunning release and look forward to this coming. will be in touch ASAP to reserve This range is excellent

Indeed a very nice release. I’m just surprised by the small size of the Natter {eek3}; although I never saw a picture of one with someone next to it, I thought it was a little bigger rocket plane.

Excellent release of the Natter and four figures from TG. I think the whole set is priced very well. I might bite the bullet and pre-order one. Does anyone know if there is a bonus figure for club member as well ^&grin ?
Here is my version of scale model Natter in different camo

Rob,

My model is Dragon kit 1:48. I think the height of launch tower is what Terry said although I never measure it ^&grin

I don't see how a launch tower could be shipped assembled without breakage or even what material it could be made of.And there was more than one type of launch tower.

Dragon has a Natter and tower plastic kit in 1:48 scale which assembles to 17" tall. At 1:30 it would be about 27" tall.

Thanks guys:smile2: Terrific looking set up, I can well imagine what Terry is saying about shipping being a bit of a nightmare!

The 11th is fast approaching, what new treats are in store for us. The V series and FFL have hit the wallet hard, but I will be chasing the expected Zulu & V items nevertheless. Just too good to miss. Robin.

Just a few more hours and we should know what we can expect to find under the Christmas tree:wink2: Just waiting for Wayne over in the West to get home from work and post the releases and there goes the Christmas bonus blown on more TS's. {sm4}, Robin.

personally, I would think Wayne needs to sort his calendar out and make sure he is off work for such an important day!!!LOL

Looking forward to what comes

Think there is a hitch, Wayne would have posted by now. Not to worry it will happen and be worth the wait. ^&confuse Robin.
