Gentle Canadian Friends,

Thank you Canada for being a terrifically warm and generous host for the XXI Winter Olympic Games! The drama of the competition was second to none and the setting for the games was storybook perfect. My compliments for a job well done!

While, as a citizen of the United States, I take pride in my country for achieving the most medals, I am equally proud of the fact that my Northern Neighbor won the most gold medals! Congratulations on your remarkable achievement!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

So Canada won is that right?.......he who has the most gold wins

my country wins three medals one bronze and two silver, but we have a woman Petra Majdic who also win Fox plaket because she injured her self(she fall in to the 4 meter unprotected hole and she broke 5 ribs at her warming time) but than even her 5 ribs were broken she still compete in qualification, quater finals, semi finals and final(all in one day) and at the end she get a bronze medal, but if she will not be injured she will get an gold one.She was undefeated for two years in this sport,so even now with 5 broken ribs she still win a bronze,...than she go to the hospital for a few days and than she win this Fox reward.
So,do not mess with slovenian womans haha!

Thanks Canada for presenting the winter games. I enjoyed all the events and even learned a little about curling. The hockey game was great and both teams performed well. I always prefer winter olympics to summer games.
Thanks for showing what a beautiful area where the games were held.

I really enjoyed the purposely corny closing ceremonies with the Rockett mounties, lumberjacks, Mapleleaf dancers and beaver balloons! The Canadian celebrities (Shatner, Fox, O'hara) that work in the US were fun too. Good job Canada!

Great games.Vancouver did a great job.I must say it didn`t look good from the start, with the death of the young fellow then the arm from the torch didn`t work.17 days of great sports and a good run at the medals from the USA .A new gold record for Canada plus gold in both women and mens hockey.WILL DONE ALL THE COUNTRYS.Until we meet again .
Cheers
Dave

Is it a requirement that the closing ceremonies have a mime?
