Thank you Mr Matt........... (1 Viewer)

Heavy hitters thinning Georges ranks of 1st Legion. Very cool. Some of us nutz do wargame with expensive metal sets.Wish i was there, not only to look over the First Legion and add a few to my Waterloo insanities, but also just go to Historicon.Succumbed to 20mm WW2 { again} and have much Homework to do catching up on 20mm I tried for years to ignore.I'm sure it's all there.

Love the First Legion Chassuers and British Guards and have managed to restrain myself for now.
Have some K/C that need to find a new home 1st.;):D
Have fun at the show George.Isnt there a show near Gettysburg in the Fall?
I want to tour the Battlefield again and hit a wargame /Miniature show.

Congratulations to those sales, George,
good to hear that the FL figures are so well received.
They sure deserve it ;)

And to think a few years back at OTSN, I had a little to do with George switching from plastic to metal! I think he made the final decision after we left Andy,s room and had seen the prototypes of the WS40 Germans.
Always been one of my best friends in this hobby and looking forward to seeing you at OTSN.
Gary

I can tell you were a police officer Gary, that is quite a memory you have and you are 100% correct, it was those Germans that knocked me off the fence and got me to start carrying K & C. And right back at you; you are my longest standing customer, ten years now, so I really appreciate your loyalty, which is rare.

The Historicon show was just superb, I had a great time. There were some massive Napoleonic games; Austerlitz, Aspern Essling and Wagram just to name afew.

To give you guys some perspective, Historicon is my OTSN; look forward to it all year, can't sleep the night before, have a great time meeting up with friends and buying stuff for my collection, then wham, it's all over and it's on to next year...................

Rob

It grabs you, pulls you in and doesn't let go, which is fine by me.

One of the perks for me as a dealer at Historicon is I get to shop early in the morning the day of the show; many of the terrain items dealers bring are one off pieces. Sometimes I'll pay for a piece and allow the dealer to leave it on his table to take orders on it; did that this year and one of the pieces I bought and left on the stand enabled the dealer to sell four more, so he appreciated it.

The night before Historicon starts, I set the alarm on the clock in the room, set my alarm on my cell phone and then call downstairs for a wake up call.

Yes, it grabs you for sure.........
