Thanks Andy! (1 Viewer)

I just realised my Hetzer is of a similar camo, they will look good together,if a considerable difference in size!

Ditto to that!.We WW2 collectors spend our year bombarding Andy with wants and requests,so i think its cool that when he comes up with the goods like he has done this month we can show our appreciation.

I know we all love the KT,but how cool is that Scwimm too!:)

I think all the new releases are very nice, esp. the Winter Schwin (guess nobody is relieving himself this time:D)) and, although I know costs have gone up and all that (and I fully understand the economic conditions facing manufacturers (e.g., Britains)), the price on the new King Tiger is not cheap, $225.

Will you get both Brad?.My love of military History tells me i must!;)

Rob

Tiger is tremendous. Excellent rendition of one of Kampfgruppe Peiper's T-2's. now i will have to break down and buy Bulge stuff too. Liebstandarte Band is also very tempting to add to my WS032. So much product, so little money...

Welcome to the ' I shouldn't really but i'm going to' club Lancer;):D

Rob

Rob,

Would love to get both but my love of history may interfere with my love of eating:) I've never been terribly fond of the earlier KT's so I may sell those to pay for the new one.

:D

Much though i love this new KT,if it disrupted my love of pasta...well thats a whole different ball game;)

Now i have the deep moral problem of which to buy first. The Crusader that i've been on at Andy to make for ages,or the KT that i've been on at....you see my problem?;)

Rob

That is some beast of a King Tiger!! But what I really loved the most in these dispatches is General Sosabowski and the Polish Paratroopers . . . they are a much needed addition to any Market Garden collector's display.:cool:

Yes and i like the action poses of some of these new guys too.I think the Bren gun team would go very well with the set 'Advance to contact'.

Rob

Love the King Tiger! Its the right scale, camo pattern, and weathering. For $225 I wish it had 4 figures.

now that we have a KT, how about a 2nd version repaint! like the previous Porsche KT!

I've just seen the price of the KT.I better start geting on the right side of my good lady!

Rob

What do you think of the KT then Rod?

Rob

A Huge Monster, IMO one of the best, along with the STUGIII, Tank in WWII, now I have a huge problem, I have to choose between this one and the 88mm Flak 18 (WS-103). I don't have money for Both....:(

Thats a difficult one mate.I'd go for the KT but thats just because i've wanted one for ages. The 88 is also a great piece.

I am happy you all find so much to like from the new releases. Fortunately for my budget there are no temptations here for me. The crusaders continue to beckon however.:)

Are you sure you couldn't find a home for that KT mate?;)

I am curious about the fascination with the LAH series?
Recreating battles with the German army against the allies is one thing.
You can take the politics out of it and focus on tactics, weapons, individual acts of courage and the pleasure of the good guys really coming out on top.
But showcasing the pomp and ceremony of a psychopathic and barbaric regime seems insensitive to their victim's suffering and in a way patronizing to their attrocities. Why glorify the Nazi regime at all?
To be fair there are people who think collecting toy soldiers promotes militarism and I obviously don't agree. I look at it as an appreciation of art and history.
I would love to hear your sentiments.
