In my opinion, the best sculpting of the personality figures is the Montgomery figure. The sculptor really nailed this one in every detail. You could show this figure naked and you would still know it was Monty.
Semper Fi!
Rick

I think Louis is after the rare naked Monty figure. I understand he wants to take some embarrasing shots of it with a small and playful sheep :)

The new Alexander figure has a very good likeness to the man. In my opinion, the best sculpting of the personality figures is the Montgomery figure. The sculptor really nailed this one in every detail. You could show this figure naked and you would still know it was Monty.

Rick, don't you mean "the full Monty" ? (Sorry folks, but I'm not one to let an eye-rolling groaner of a joke go unsaid. :D )

Just a thought as i sit here pretending to be busy.I really liked the B.O.B set taken from the photo "crossing the road".There is an often printed photo of some Eighth army soldiers with fixed bayonets accosting a german tank crew member, who is half out of his tank.I think this would make an excellant mini dio, especially if Andy produced a half german figure to go with it.As i say just a thought, here comes the boss!.

I hope I didn't come off to critical of the sculpting. I think the AK series from AK 11 on and the EA series are the best sculpting Andy has ever done. There's not a bad one in the bunch. I just thought that the new EA sculpting was better than the new AK sculpting.

Like Rick, I'm hoping that we don't have to wait a long time again for AK and EA releases. I think they will prove popular and I've put money where my mouth is and started saving for these releases when announced back last year.

I think Brad has a good point based purely on the pictures. These do look to me slightly better than the recent DAK releases and I thought those, especially the gun crew, had really raised the bar.

The North Africa range is certainly getting all the stops pulled out this year. I just hope now that the surprise is some British desert armour.
