Thanks for all your posts guys-took note of them all and you are right it certainly does paint up well for just a piece of foam.
Needed quite a bit of filing and trimming to get the two pieces snugly fitted. Kept the paint scheme to the original adobe colors and as I liked Kogu's picture of the Viking/Saxon well with rope and bucket-Molded rope/pulley and bucket to suit the Alamo era.
Just got to figure out now how to put it in the Deguello dio
